What HAUL is
HAUL helps you judge second-hand items: it identifies them, researches what they sold for, and estimates what you could keep after fees. It also helps you keep track of what you bought and sold.
Estimates, not promises
HAUL's verdicts, prices, profits and sell times are estimates built from public information found on the web at the moment you ask. Markets move, listings disappear, and sources can be wrong or incomplete. HAUL can be mistaken, and when the evidence is thin it will say it is not sure.
You decide what to buy, at what price, and how to sell it. HAUL is not financial, legal or tax advice, and does not guarantee that anything will sell, or sell for a particular price. Always check an item yourself — whether it is genuine, complete and working — before you pay for it.
Using HAUL fairly
- Use HAUL for your own buying and reselling, and within the law where you live.
- Don't use it to buy or sell stolen, counterfeit or prohibited goods.
- Don't try to break, overload, copy or resell the app or the research behind it, or get around its limits.
- Follow the rules of the marketplaces you buy and sell on.
Subscriptions
Some features need a subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID, renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before, and can be managed or cancelled in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. Each plan includes a fair amount of research; the exact limits are shown in the app and may be adjusted to keep HAUL fair for everyone.
Other services
HAUL relies on outside services — Apple, Google, Anthropic, Brave Search and the marketplaces named in our privacy policy. Their content and availability are their own, and HAUL is not responsible for them. Trademarks of products and marketplaces shown in HAUL belong to their owners.
Your content
The photos, notes and records you put into HAUL stay yours. You let HAUL process them only to give you its answers, as described in the privacy policy.
Changes and availability
We keep improving HAUL, so features can change, and the app may occasionally be unavailable. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update this page and its date, and tell you in the app.
Liability
HAUL is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from decisions you make using its estimates, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer law.
